ARCO/Murray recently completed an 86,500 square-foot healthcare laundry build-out for Crown Health Care in Lakeland, Florida. The project was a complete design-build solution including architectural and engineering design, permitting, building modifications, process piping and electrical work.
In order to open the new plant ahead of schedule, both the design time and construction schedule were compressed cutting the overall project duration by a month. As a single design-build provider under a single contract, ARCO/Murray was able to coordinate project steps to deliver an exceptional end result earlier than anticipated.
The entire laundry equipment package was provided by Pellerin Laundry Machinery Supply Company and included Milnor washroom equipment, Chicago finishing equipment, Kemco water systems and Softrol rail. This was ARCO/Murray’s first project with Crown Health Care. Max Potvin served as project manager and Glenn Broome was the project superintendent.
If you choose to work with a national design-builder such as ARCO, our goal is the same as yours: get to construction faster by uncovering expensive risks with minimal upfront investment.
