ARCO/Murray recently put the finishing touches on DHL’s Hub facility at the Miami International Airport, as well as the welcome center which was completed in November 2021. The multi-year expansion further strengthens the world’s leading provider of express shipping services connections and service capabilities. The facility is now nearly twice the size and will accommodate eight new flights to and from Europe, Asia Pacific, South America, Mexico and the U.S. It is the largest DHL Hub serving Latin America and the Caribbean.

The overall results are improved flexibility, reliability and service for our customers’ ever-growing international shipping needs.”
The newly renovated hub will double DHL’s shipment volume throughput to meet high consumer demand, as well as increase employment at that location by 70%, adding new job opportunities into the local economy. ARCO/Murray completed a new welcome center, which was uniquely designed and constructed in the shape of an airplane. The buildout also included the warehouse, open office area, private offices, conference rooms, break area, server room, and a connecting staircase within the facility. ARCO has been the design-builder on 100+ DHL projects throughout the United States, including retail centers, cold storage facilities, express warehouses, gateway hubs, modular dock expansions and more.
