San Mateo, California (June 30, 2022) – ARCO/Murray, a Top 10 design-builder and the leading builder of Warehouses and Distribution facilities in the U.S. according to Engineering News-Record (ENR), broke ground earlier this month on the Frontier Elm Business Center. The facility is owned by Link Logistics, the industrial investment arm of New York City-based Blackstone and a leading national owner of last-mile logistics real estate. This investment is the latest of many in the city of Fremont for Link Logistics and effectively grows their presence in the greater Bay Area to 12 million square feet.
The development is located at 47020 Kato Road on Fremont’s “advanced manufacturing row,” which includes world-class industrial and manufacturing organizations like Tesla, Boston Scientific, and Delta Electronics. Fremont currently has over 50 million square feet of flex industrial space and supports the largest concentration of advanced manufacturing companies in the country.

Frontier Elm Business Center is being created on a speculative basis and shell completion has a projected date within the second quarter of 2023. The building will be more than 200,000 square feet and includes over 7,000 square feet of office space, 28 dock doors, 348 parking spots, 24 trailer parking spots, and 2% skylights throughout the facility.
With the Frontier Elm Business Center project, ARCO/Murray expands on their existing 530+ project portfolio of ground-up industrial construction projects totaling over 175M square feet. Additionally, ARCO and Link are working together on several projects underway in both New Jersey and Texas.
